Today we talked about graphing sine and cosine. You can use whatever method you are comfortable with to graph - create a t-table, or use the box method, or some other method. The important part is to be able to identify the amplitude, period, and phase shift, and understand how transformations will affect the graph. Homework was p. 49 #18, 20, 21, 22, 25, 29. We did not talk about inverse functions, and did not talk about restricting the domain, and the range of inverse functions, so you may be confused with some of the later problems. We will talk about them in class tomorrow. Solutions are available here.
