Your curved mirror packet is due on Monday!
Tomorrow you will have a quiz on plane mirrors. Make sure you know the law of reflection, also review the problems we did in class, and that you can locate find the location of the image formed in a plane mirror.

Today we finished the plane mirror lab and began working on some book problems, p. 792 #4, 7 and p. 793 # 3, 5, 6
On Friday we began a lab to investigate where the image in a mirror is formed. We will continue with the lab on Monday.
Today you finished up the ray tracings for the 3 different mirrors. You should measure the incident angle and reflected angle for each ray and put the values in a data table (on the same page of the tracing if possible). Finally, write a conclusion (claim, evidence, reasoning) to answer the question "How does light reflect from a mirror".
Today we investigated how mirrors reflect light. You should have created 3 ray diagrams with a data table for each. You should also write a conclusion (Claim Evidence Reasoning format) to answer the question "What is the relationship between the incoming and outgoing light ray when a light ray reflects off of a mirror". Make sure you answer the question completely and support your answer with YOUR DATA.
We are officially done with our impulse/momentum and energy unit. Some of you need a few extra minutes to finish up your posters. We will be watching a video to introduce our light unit on Monday, so you can complete any finishing touches then, or come in during lunch to finish up.
Today we did the human horsepower lab. Your completed lab, including both graphs, is due on Friday.
We are finishing up our momentum and energy unit. Today we learned about power. Tomorrow we will do a power lab, and we will take the final height measurements for our lander drops.
Today we began the final energy analysis of our Mars Landers. We will finish the analysis on Monday, do the drop, and finish up our posters.
Today we talked about potential energy, kinetic energy, and mechanical energy, and the conditions under which mechanical energy is conserved, and when it changes. We did a worksheet in class, which everyone completed.
