We will continue with our circuits lab until we complete all 4 investigations.

Today we began our investigation of electric circuits. You are working with a partner to build a model to explain electric circuits.
Today we talked about electric force and the concept of electric field. You should complete problems #1-6 in the inquiry packet.
Today we learned Coulomb's Law to calculate the electrostatic force between 2 charged particles. Homework is a worksheet.
Today you did an online investigation to gather data to determine the relationship between force, charge, and distance. Make sure your equation is supported by your data. The completed investigation is due tomorrow.
Make sure you complete the back side of the charges worksheet!
Today we learned how to calculate the amount of charge that a specific number of electrons possess. There was a worksheet for homework. You only need to attempt #1,2,3.
Today we talked about the big ideas from the sticky tape lab. Then we did some electrostatic demos and played some games.
Today we investigated interactions between charged and uncharged objects. You will need to review your data and write a conclusion using the Claim-Evidence-Reasoning format. The conclusion is really a CER for 3 different questions. The file with the questions is in the google drive folder (or click on link). Make sure you read each section know what to include in each section. The final document is due Wednesday.
Test corrections (Optional) for the work/energy test are due on Monday 3/12 at the beginning of the period. NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED! To earn back half of the points you missed you must re-solve the problem completely, showing all of your work. Staple your corrections to the front of your original test and hand in by the due date!
