Today you finished gathering data for the projectile motion lab. You should finish writing up your procedure and your analysis. Your entire group can use the same procedure, but the analysis should be written individually. This is due on Friday (we will not have any more class time to work on this lab). On Friday we will test your velocity calculation - I will give you a target and the angle you must use, and you need to calculate where to place your marble shooter to hit the target.

Today we continued to practice setting up and solving projectile motion problems. The solutions to all of the problems that we did in class are available here.
Today we began solving 2 dimensional kinematics problems. We worked together on whiteboards to sketch the situation, identify horizontal and vertical variables, and then solve the problem. We will continue practicing tomorrow.
Today we began kinematics in 2 dimensions. We talked about displacement, velocity, and acceleration in 2 dimensions, and practiced finding horizontal (x) components and vertical (y) components of vectors. Homework, if you did not finish in class, is p. 82 #1-4, 6,7,9. Solutions are available on google drive.
Please finish the projectile motion lab Part 1 and the first investigation on Part 2 for Monday. Tomorrow you have a quiz on vectors. Know how to find components of vectors, how to write vectors in polar form and component form, how to add vectors graphically, and how to add vectors using components.
Today we practiced adding vectors, then finished the worksheet (Vectors #1). Solutions to the worksheet are in the google drive folder.
Today we did some more practice with vectors - converting from polar form to component form and vice versa. We then started to add vectors using components. We will continue working on adding vectors tomorrow.
Today we checked our answers to the vector worksheet. Then we talked about how to write vectors in component form and polar form, and to convert from one form to the other.
Today we practiced adding vectors graphically. The worksheet is due tomorrow (Friday).
Today we talked about vectors in 2 dimensions. We learned how to add vectors graphically, how to represent vectors graphically, using polar form, and using component form, then we learned how to add vectors using components. Tomorrow will be a work day to practice. Please begin the webassign problems tonight.
