Today we reviewed right triangles and the trig functions sine, cosine, and tangent. Tomorrow we will see how these ideas apply to vectors. Homework is p. 23 #12, 14-16, 18, 20. Finish any problems that you did not finish in class.

Today we spent the period working on test corrections. You can earn back half of the points that you missed if you do test corrections. They should be done on a separate sheet of paper which will be stapled to your original test and handed in no later than next Monday (10.17). Your corrections should explain why your original answer was wrong in terms of the physics involved. I don't want to see "i guessed wrong". I do want to see "the object was moving in the negative direction, therefore, the velocity should have been negative". If it is a calculation problem, show me the correct calculation to get the correct answer.
Today you received a review packet for tomorrow's exam. You do not need to hand in these problems - they are for you to practice. Solutions to the review problems are available in the google drive folder. For the exam, you may bring in a single-sided, hand-written sheet of notes (8.5x11inches) to use for the exam.
Today we finished the free fall worksheet. Solutions are available in the google drive folder. Tomorrow we will review for the exam on Thursday. Make sure you come to class with all of you questions about this unit.
Today we summarized the trends we found in our exploration/graphing activity, and began working on free fall problems (solutions to all problems we worked in class are in the google drive folder). Homework is to finish problems #1-5 on the worksheet for tomorrow.
