Flipping Physics Review Video 1 Review Video 2 Mechanics Dimensions Review Today's task is to review your practice test and identify the concepts that you most need to review. Make yourself a study guide to review these concepts - your book is a great resource! Solutions to the practice exam are available in the Review Materials/AP Scoring Guides folder on google drive, as is the Grading Rubric and MC KEY.
We will have our first practice exam on Wednesday (multiple choice) and Thursday (free response). This will give you a better idea of where you want to focus your reviewing in the last 2 weeks before the AP exam.
Make a video of you doing something physics related. Explain the physics in your video. Email the video to me no later than midnight Sunday April 16th for up to 10 extra credit points. The number of points depends on the quality of your physics explanation and originality of your video. You may work in a group.
Yesterday we continued our review with AP FRQ's. If you worked on the 2016 FRQ's, the scoring guide is available in the Review Folder on Google Drive.
From the oscillation packet, complete the following problems: 2000M1, 2004 M3, 2011 M3. Score your answers using the scoring guide in the oscillation google drive folder. This is due on Friday and is worth 30 points.
Today we finished talking about pendulums. You should be able to derive the equations of motion for a mass/spring; simple pendulum; physical pendulum; and torsional pendulum. See yesterday's post for slides.
Answers to the MC Problems from the AP packet are in the google drive folder. Kaitlyn, sorry I doubted you - you were CORRECT on #3! Today we talked about the equations of motion for pendulums (simple pendulum, physical pendulum, and torsional pendulum). A new webassign is available to practice these concepts.

REMINDERs:Chapter 2 test retake is Monday 10/15. You can take the retest either before school or after school, but you must complete all of the Chapter 2 homework (75% completion on each assignment) to be eligible for a retake!
